    The University of Iowa women’s golf team finished tied for second with Missouri at the Claud Jacobs Challenge presented by SCOR golf. The Hawkeyes ended the 54-hole tournament at 934 (309-312-313, +70). Texas State won the tournament title after firing a 901 (307-296-298, +37). The Bobcats hosted the event at the 6,087-yard, par 72 Victoria Country Club in Victoria, Texas.

The Hawkeyes placed ninth overall with 201 points. Minnesota won the Big Ten Title with 680.5 points

    The University of Iowa men’s tennis team fell to Illinois State 5-2 on Saturday at the Evergreen Racquet Club. Iowa falls to 1-5 on the season while the Redbirds improved to 3-3.

    The University of Iowa softball team posted school records in runs, hits, RBI, total bases and team batting average in a 26-5, five-inning rout of in-state rival Iowa State on Saturday at the Littlewood Classic.
